Meet The Optometrist

    BART JONES
    O.D.
    Dr. Jones graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor’s Degree. He then earned his optometry license from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
    Dr. Jones is a member of the Arkansas Optometric Association and is certified by the Arkansas Board of Optometry in diagnostic and therapeutic eye care.


    He lives in Jonesboro with his two children and wife, Paige.

    Dr. Herndon graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2010 and completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in 2014.
    She is a member of the Arkansas Optometric Association and is certified by the Arkansas Board of Optometry.


    Growing up in Weiner, AR, she now lives in Jonesboro with her husband Cory.

    O.D.
    Harry J. Harrell graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and followed with post-graduate studies at Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
    Dr. Harrell has been in private practice for over 30 years. He is a lifetime member of the American Optometric Association, and has held several offices in the Arkansas Optometric Association, including President from 1995-1996. He also has been Chairman of the Past Presidents Council since 2003. Dr. Harrell received the 2007 Optometrist of the Year award, and was honored in 2014 with the Lifetime of Excellence award, both presented by the Arkansas Optometric Association.


    Dr. Harrell is married to his wife Cathy. They have three children, six grandchildren and are active members of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Dr. Harrell is also a member of the Jonesboro Rotary Club, where he was awarded the Paul Harris Award.
